Getting on with business in another country
For students who are or may be working abroad

You arrive at Xyz company abroad hoping to do business with them
First task is introductions:
You will introduce yourself to the other company staff, telling them about your company and your role within the company. The aim is to make sure the student is confident giving information about them selves in English.
Brief feedback session with student explaining how confident they were introducing themselves. Teacher giving feedback on anything to be improved.
The teacher will then introduce someone from the other company, describing their role within the company. The student must then explain what they heard (in English) and answer questions about the other persons role. The aim is to check the students ability to listen to English and absorb new information.

Final task is a discussion in the lift. Company Xyz representative will ask the student some questions about the business they are proposing and the student will try and answer them. The aim is see whether the student can cope with a short business discussion and can answer questions about their business.
A final feedback session, from student and teacher, the student identifying any areas they struggled with and the teacher giving feedback and points to work on.
Student and teacher to discuss what the tasks/topic will be for the next lesson.
