New to Swahili? This 50 minute lesson is designed for complete beginners who want a friendly, no pressure introduction to the language.
We'll start with greetings and polite expressions, then move into numbers, basic questions, and simple everyday phrases you can use right away, like introducing yourself, asking for directions, or ordering food. Along the way, you'll pick up small cultural notes that help the language make more sense, like how greetings reflect respect and community in Swahili speaking cultures.
By the end of the lesson, you'll be able to hold a short, simple conversation in Swahili and feel confident building on what you've learned.
No prior knowledge required. Just bring curiosity and an open mind.
