Learn how to talk about hypothetical, unlikely, or imaginary situations using the imperfect subjunctive
Description
We will study structures such as se eu tivesse, se você pudesse, se nós fôssemos, and o que você faria se… We will also connect the imperfect subjunctive with the conditional to create complete and natural sentences.
Conversation activities may include deciding what you would do in a difficult situation, discussing a possible career change, negotiating a solution at work, imagining a different life in Brazil, responding to a family problem, or considering cultural beliefs and superstitions.
The lesson includes grammar formation, sentence transformation, hypothetical questions, discussion, and role-play
