In this lesson, we will practice essential grammar and phrases to help you speak English more naturally and confidently!

We can use the following textbooks:

  • Essential Grammar in Use
  • Basic Grammar in Use
  • English Grammar in Use
  • Practice Makes Perfect: English Conversation
  • Phrasal Verbs in Use

Lessons include grammar practice, listening activities, quizzes, custom conversation exercises, and reviews tailored to your level.

For beginners, we might start with phrases like:

  • I am
  • He/She is
  • We are

And questions like:

  • Am I...?
  • Are we...?
  • Is she/he...?

For advanced learners, we’ll explore phrasal verbs such as:

  • Bring up (to mention a topic)
  • Cut back on (to reduce)
  • Get around to (to finally do something)
  • Run into (to encounter unexpectedly)
  • Turn down (to reject)

You can choose where to start, and I’ll share lesson pages during our sessions. I recommend purchasing the textbooks for continued study.
