課程介紹

In this lesson you will be introduced to the Bon Odori matsuri here in the city where I live, in Argentina. The idea is to celebrate the  International Women´s Day with this beautiful festival that is held every year in summer here,  to honor the  value of respect to diversity in all its forms
In this lesson, you will watch some videos about some of these festivals celebrated in my city and how Argentinians enjoy Japanese culture and feeling part of  this impressive Bon Odori ceremony. I will tell you about its origins here in Argentina, and how Argentinian people are involved in the matsuri.
The power of respect to diversity and the multicultural enrichment are shown in every matsuri, and it is why,  15.000 people get to La Plata city,every year in February (summer here), from different parts of Argentina
Celebrating the International Women´s  Day brought me to think about the need of thinking of respect and understanding to women and indeed, towards everyone. So, I realized that here in my city there are some beautiful events which are really a celebration of respect and understanding to diversity.
The teacher will give the lesson in English, but you will also watch some videos which will be displayed in the lesson, so, you will also hear some Argentinian people speaking some words in Spanish!
