I hold a Ph.D. in Anthropology, an M.A. from Yale University, and have trained nearly 100 researchers in the field. I’ve advised high school, university, and graduate students, as well as guided professionals in understanding human behavior, systems, and strategy.

  • B.A. in Anthropology – University of Connecticut

  • Director, Isla Mujeres Ethnographic Field School – Training nearly 100 researchers in ethnographic and qualitative research methods.

  • 25+ years’ experience teaching and mentoring at high school, university, and professional levels.

  • Research expertise in medical anthropology, qualitative methods, social theory, and cross-cultural communication.

  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes; invited speaker at universities and professional conferences worldwide.
