課程介紹
'What do you think?' lessons give you the opportunity to discuss different topics and give detailed viewpoints and arguments.
Students will be able to practise debating with me in English on any topic.
I can provide topics and questions for discussion but students can also opt to choose an idea to discuss during the lesson. Or the lesson can be a mix of a topic chosen by me and then a point for discussion chosen by the student.
The lesson is designed to encourage free flow talking and build confidence in speaking in English and giving detailed opinions and points of view.
During the lesson, I will give feedback in a way that the student feels most effective for them.
Examples of topics for debate:
Fashion: People should be free to wear what they like.
Travel: Public transport should be banned in city centres, to promote a healthy lifestyle and be eco-friendly.
Social media: Children shouldn't use social media such as Facebook.
