I’ve tried a few different Japanese teachers and Hiromi is the best. Really thoughtful, well planned, friendly and helpful lessons. She explains difficult grammar easily and I always notice an improvement when I take regular lessons. Highly recommended!

I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. 福山先生は優しくておだやかな性格で、とても親切に教えてくださいます。こちらの希望に沿ったレッスンにも対応してくださり、いつも最後に「他に何か質問はないですか？」と聞いてくださいます。先生の会話レッスンを受けていると、楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいます。そして、先生の優しさに癒されます。おすすめします。

My first lesson with Yumi Sensei was great. She took the time to listen to my background and future goals with Japanese and catered to what I want to learn. She is a skilled teacher and has excellent English which was a great support when I was not sure how to explain what I wanted to say in Japanese.
