　そろばんのベテランの先生に、暗算を読んでいただきました。暗算の読み上げには、技術やコツがいるので、ありがたい経験となりました。　今は、AIが発達しましたが、そろばん・暗算は生活で役に立ちます。電卓で数字がはじけるのと、頭の中で答えが出せるのは、全然意味が違います。暗算はAIではとって代わらないので、子供の時に修得しておくと一生何らかの役にたちます。私はそれができました。

I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. Tomo sensei is excellent at conversations! We never seem to run out of topics to discuss! She's very curious and asks many questions which is great for speaking practice, and which I appreciate a lot! Having no camera also helps me really focus on listening without looking for gestures to give me hints on the meanings of words. Her feedback is really insightful and detailed and very helpful! She's happy to discuss various topics and conversations never get dull! I highly recommend her lessons!
