Hey! I'm Jess, originally from Ohio, USA, but currently residing in Sofia, Bulgaria for a volunteer program. In addition to being an English teacher, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, traveling, and sports of any kind.
I have a Bachelor's degree in education and a TESOL certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). With over 10 years of experience teaching students of different age groups both online and in person, I have honed my instructional skills. My areas of expertise encompass accent improvement, grammar mastery, and equipping my students with the necessary tools to thrive independently.
As an experienced teacher, I believe in empowering my students to become self-sufficient learners. My primary objective is to instill in you the confidence and structure to practice and acquire English skills independently, reducing your reliance on a teacher.
