Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level Maths Teacher | Online Lessons in English or Russian
Hello! I'm Aleks, a full-time maths teacher at an international school in Southeast Asia. I teach Cambridge IGCSE Maths (0580) and AS & A Level Maths (9709), and I also help students with IB MYP maths.
I studied Applied Mathematics & IT at ITMO University (Russia), and before teaching I worked for years as a CTO and CFO. That background helps me explain hard ideas in a simple, logical way and connect maths to the real world.
My lessons (online only):
- Cambridge IGCSE Maths (0580): Year 10–11. Algebra, functions, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and exam technique.
- A-Level Maths 9709: Year 12–13. Pure 1 & 3 and Statistics 1 & 2.
How we work:
- Real Cambridge past papers, marked with the official mark scheme, so you see exactly where marks are lost.
- My own worksheets with scorecards and short homework between lessons to track progress.
- GeoGebra and Desmos to make hard ideas visual.
- Flexible times, from anywhere in the world.
