I have been studied the contrast syntactic analysis among Mandarin, English and Spanish with a professor of Linguistics since I was a university student (& a graduate student). Plus, I also explore a tiny bit of syntactic issues on Taiwanese Southern Min.

Aside from that, I am fairly familiarize myself with the theories and issues on second language acquisition (SLA). For this reason, I can be aware of your feelings, thoughts and the difficulty you may encounter when learning a new language, such as (Taiwanese) Mandarin.

Practically speaking, I have had the teaching certifications and language teaching experience for over 8 years. As for Mandarin teaching, I taught Mandarin for junior high school students by means of various learning strategies, including mind-mapping, dictation, 5H1W, ORID method, etc. It helps me a lot to facilitate students to learn Mandarin. Moreover, thanks to having learned numerous foreign languages (, such as English, Spanish, and a little bit of Japanese, etc.) for over 8 years, I am able to understand you during language learning journey. 1.  (Taiwanese) Mandarin Focus: Make a sentence with a idioms
   The course is suitable for those who love to learn new expressions, such as idioms (成語), pop expressions (流行語), etc and generate your own sentences at once.

2. (Taiwanese) Mandarin Focus: Free Talk
   The course is suitable for those who love to have a chat with a (Taiwanese) Mandarin native speaker. We can discuss what learners are into in 60~100 % (Taiwanese) Mandarin.

3. (Taiwanese) Mandarin Focus: Keep Your Diary
   The course is suitable for those who love to practice your writing skll offline. The instructor will give learners the written corrective feedback within 48 hours via Skype.

1. English Vocabulary Course (0~CEFR B2)
(1) Put emphasis upon the affixes (prefixes, roots, suffixes) learning
(2) If there is an facinating etymological story, the instructor will tell the story so as to make learners do meaningful learning
(3) Provide practical collocations and formulaic expreesions of the words with learners
(4) learners are encourage to make sentences in class

2.  English Grammar Course
(1) Introduce the grammatical points via "sentence patterns" in order that you can process them in a simple way.
(2) The instructor will draw a big picture of systematical grammar
(3) You have to comprehend English grammar logic rather than do rote learning

3. English Reading Course 
(1) Emphasize the intensive reading so that learners can learn vocabulary and grammar in context during the first stage of reading learning.
(2) Explore futher reading articles as narrow reading. By doing so, learners can get familiar with the issues occuured in the reading during the second stage of reading learning.
(3) Let's do Q&A for learners' reading comprehension

4. English Guided Speaking Course
(1) The course will begin with a series of questions and the instructor will facilitate learners with some hints and provide corrective feedback with you.
(2) The instructor will provide some of expressions and formulaic sequences in the sample answers. It may help learners expand their expressions spontanuously.

Course Rules

1. Turn on the Camera or Turn off the Camera: It depends on you because some of our courses do not focus on the eye contact.
2. You will receive the handout the teacher has done for you before class. Thus, you do not need to pay extra money on it.
3. Customized courses: You can text the teacher for your demand as long as the teacher can design and teach it.
4. Finish your assignment before next lesson: Only those who pay more attention to their learning can learn better and faster. 
5. Assignment should be returned via Skype at least 48 hours before class. The instructor will review them before class. If submitted less than 48 hours before, review and discussion will occur during class.


** Any changes to class times should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance after booking a session.
