Mayuko S 講師的自我介紹

I will assist you to help succeed in Japanese companies //

Hello. My name is Mayuko.

I specialize in teaching business Japanese.

I assist individuals who want to work for a Japanese company, change careers, or have any concerns related to business Japanese.

My lessons are especially recommended for individuals who are considering working in private companies, IT industry, marketing industry, and so on. I myself have 12 years of experience in marketing and consulting in Tokyo’s IT industry.

① Do you want to work for/change career to a Japanese company?

② Do you want to learn how to write entry sheets, self promotion, and motivations for applying to a job in Japan?

③ Do you want to prepare for an interview in Japanese (basic manners/how to answer questions)?

④ Do you want to learn “business Japanese” and “Japanese business manners” that are used in corporates?

⑤ Do you want to learn how to use keigo (honorifics), and business honorifics used at work?

⑥ Do you want to learn about basic communication with Japanese speakers (acquiring speaking and listening skills)

⑦ Do you want to learn how to write business documents, proposals, emails, and so on in Japanese?

⑧ Do you want to learn how to write marketing content in Japanese?

⑨ Do you want to learn about terminology related to DX projects and IT fields?

⑩ Learning to speak logically: Practice answering questions logically (we will start with very simple phrases)

I recommend my lesson to any of you who would like to learn these topics.

My actual lessons often include the following contents:

■ Comparing the recruitment requirements of the corporations that you want to apply to with your own strengths and experience, and finding your good selling points.

■ Self-analysing while discovering your strengths.

■ Practicing for job interviews (online and in-person).

■ Preparing to join a Japanese corporation.

【For New Graduates】 Are you able to effectively promote yourself to meet the recruitment requirements of these corporations?
For those who have mastered Japanese or graduated from a Japanese university and are looking to work for a Japanese company♪
You will not be able to pass the application screening (entry sheet ES) nor interview if your strengths and experience do not match the skills and position the company you are applying for is looking for.
Let’s research about the company and the skills you can acquire at that company, while organizing your career plan.

Can you differentiate between “a difficult experience that you overcame” and “a failure that you experienced?”
If you’re having trouble, please take my trial lesson ♪♬

【For those looking to get a new job】
To connect your experience to a new job position
For those who want to challenge themselves by starting a new job, new tasks, or a different positions at a Japanese company♪
When applying to a company, it is necessary to be aware of the following points when talking about how you used to work at your previous job and how you contributed to their performance.

① Offer logical and concrete explanations.
② Explaining how you plan on utilizing your experiences in the new job you are applying for.
③ What improvements can you make to that department and/or tasks if you were assigned to the job your applied for.
④ Is your career plan achievable at this company?

Furthermore, the interviewer typically wants you to present how you can utilize your past experiences at their company, in your own unique way!
This is done within the format of an interview (a repetition of questions and answers).
In addition to preparing for your interview, I will also ask you about what you have worked hard on and what you have focused on in your previous jobs.
I will suggest how to convey your strengths in a way that is tailored to the company you are applying to.
It’s not uncommon for me to discover and tell you about your own strengths and charms that you’re not aware of.
(This could even become a hint to help you successfully pass your job interviews at Japanese companies♪)

Lessons with me are also a form of communication, but so are job interviews. And of course, so are your application forms (ES; entry sheets)!
Let’s brush up your “listening skills” and “communication skills” together so you can convey your passion in Japanese♪
