Hello Japan, and the rest of the world! My name is Viktoria, just call me Vicky.
I'm from Slovakia. A beautiful country in the heart of Europe, where the tatras create majestic mountainous sceneries, and the Danube washes and blesses the lands in the south. I'm both, a Slovak and Hungarian native speaker, for I'm a product of both cultures. Besides these two languages, I also speak to an advanced C2 degree: German, Russian, and English. Have a B2 proficiency level in Czech, and also Swedish. I'm a multilingual individual with a passion for diverse cultures.
For more than 10 years I lived in Munich, Germany. City where I studied Scandinavian and Slavic linguistics at the Ludwig Maximilian University. My studies in Munich made me appreciate and widen my mental horizons... the city is situated in the south of Germany. In the Bavarian region, blessed by the Isar river that pours crystalline water down from the Alps.
If you are currently in Europe or plan to travel to soon, you probably know that one of its biggest advantages is that there are many different and contrasting nations next to each other. Be it by aeroplane, car, bus, train, traveling from one country to the other takes only some hours. Paris, Rome, Madrid, London, Prague, so many places to visit. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding your next trip!
Currently I'm living in Colombia, South America. A completely different experience to life in Europe, but nevertheless a truly attractive one, with elements to contemplate and learn from. If you are reading this from Japan, I must tell you that our time difference is 14 hours. Meaning that if you schedule a lesson for Japan time Monday 9 PM, here it will be for Monday 7 AM.
Here on Cafetalk I offer my services as tutor of the languages that I know. Moreover, as a make-up empirical artist, and Old Scandinavian culture aficionada, I will be glad to assist, discuss, and teach, respectively.
