Ongsim 講師的自我介紹

Hello! I’m Ongsim, a Korean language tutor on Cafetalk.

 

 “Ongsim” is the name of a traditional dish from Gangwon Province in Korea — and it’s also the name of my lovely dog! Although I’m not from Gangwon myself, my dog is! 

If you love food, traveling, or animals, you’ll have even more fun in my class!



About Me

•I’m passionate about food, and I love traveling.

•I’ve lived in Japan for a month and traveled long-term in several countries across Asia and Europe.

•During my travels, I met many people from different countries. I naturally became friends with them and often taught Korean as we communicated.

•I don’t have an official teaching certificate yet, but I plan to get a Korean language teaching license.

•I’ve taught Korean to foreign friends and through online platforms.

•Just like you’re growing as a learner, I’m growing as a teacher. Let’s enjoy learning together and keep improving together!

About My Classes

•Conversation-focused lessons: I believe that thinking, expressing yourself, and understanding others through speaking is the fastest way to improve!

•Natural Korean expressions: I incorporate slang, trending phrases, and real-life expressions through fun roleplays.

•Beginner-friendly: No worries if you’re a complete beginner — I’ll help you build a solid foundation!

•Lessons available in Japanese: I hold a JLPT N2 certificate, so I can explain in Japanese when needed.

•English learners welcome too: While I’m not fluent in English, I’ll prepare thoroughly in advance to make the lessons easy to follow.
