【Self-Introduction & Teaching Experience】

Hello, I’m Chicchi.

I’m originally from Tokyo, but I currently live in Berlin, Germany. For the past 8 or so years, I’ve taught English at conversation schools, universities, and online. Working with students of various ages, I’ve always respected each student’s unique approach to learning English. While I specialize in English pronunciation instruction, I strive to provide well-balanced lessons that cover conversational and grammar skills.

I work at a company in Berlin where English is the official company language, but before moving to Berlin, I taught myself English while I was still living in Japan. Having personally experienced how you can improve your English skills even without studying abroad, I’d be delighted to use this experience to help you learn as well. I’d love to work together to figure out “how to make learning fun and sustainable” and “what approaches are most effective.”

【Interests】
I absolutely love traveling and have visited 26 countries so far, mainly in Asia, Europe, as well as North and Central America. I find it incredibly stimulating to learn about new things in different places.
I’m also passionate about music and have participated in band activities and musicals as a part of my hobby. If you’re interested, let’s practice rhythm and pronunciation together using music!


In August 2022, I revisited Mexico to meet classmates from when I obtained my CELTA.
