Hello! Hallo! こんにちは & 初めまして！ 안녕하세요 & 반갑습니다!

My name is Yasemin.
It is pronounced 「 ヤセミン / 야세민 」.

I am from Frankfurt, Germany. I lived in Japan for about 3 years in total. I moved back to Germany in August 2020. Yokohama was my home away from home. I really enjoyed living there. In 2017, I also did a working holiday in Seoul, South Korea. I have experience in teaching German for over 10 years and English for over 3 years. I have taught all levels, ages, and professions in both languages. I have worked for various 英会話 schools, so my lessons are structured similarly to eikaiwa lessons.

I love being a teacher and I teach with passion. I am cheerful, patient, and encouraging. I enjoy building a good relationship with my students to motivate them. I am multilingual, so I know the difficulties of learning a language very well. I hope that I can help my students to achieve their language goals. We can talk about anything you like. I for instance enjoy talking about music, movies, books, traveling, language learning, cultural differences, etc.).

My study advice for you: 1.) Surround yourself with English/German, 2.) Don't be scared of making mistakes, they help you to achieve your goals, and 3.) Stay motivated! =)

By the way, I graduated from Goethe University in Frankfurt. I studied Japanology and Educational Science. My favorite Japanese word is 自動販売機！(^0^)
