Hello, my name is Vicky. I’m from Beijing, China, and I speak standard Mandarin.

I studied in both China and the UK, and my academic background includes engineering, education, and Arts. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in communication and media, and I also have experience as a journalist. These experiences helped me understand how people from different cultures communicate, and they also taught me how to express ideas clearly and naturally.

In my classes, I hope to help students express their own thoughts in Chinese, not just memorize vocabulary and grammar.

My lessons focus on real communication.

If you are a beginner, we will start with simple and practical expressions, such as everyday Chinese used in daily life, so that you can gradually build confidence.

If you already have some foundation, we can talk about different topics such as daily life, culture, work, or travel, and practice Chinese through conversation to make your speaking more natural.

If you would like to practice Chinese in a relaxed atmosphere and gradually improve your confidence and natural expression, you are very welcome to book a lesson with me.
