Hello everyone! My name is Lisa. My Korean name is Eunjung, and Japanese students often call me Eunjung-sensei, while students from other regions call me Lisa. I was born and raised in Seoul. I have studied in Japan and can speak Japanese:)
While working at a Korean language school for nearly four years, I met many students from all over the world who came to South Korea to study the Korean language and culture. I taught Korean online and offline while assisting my students in their daily lives and while traveling. I was mainly in charge of assisting Japanese students at the language school, so I know what the most difficult parts are for Japanese students learning Korean.
(I have blurred out the students’ faces for privacy reasons *_*)
I worked and studied hard, and finally obtained the Grade 2 Korean Language Teacher Certificate. I then decided to study a language that was not my first language a bit more, so I studied in California, the US, for a year from 2022 to 2023. There I met students from various nationalities who had come to study English there, and there were also many Japanese students. I had previously met many Japanese speakers studying Korean, but it was also a great experience for me to meet Japanese students who were there to study English, and it is still an important part of my memories.
I also did a lot of interviews with students to find out what they found particularly difficult in learning a language. Recently, I have been working for an education company in South Korea to help children learn English. Having taught and met people of different ages, genders and nationalities learn a language that was not their mother tongue, I have continuously researched what I can do to help them.
My lessons can be tailored to your Korean language level and learning objectives.
I enjoy singing and dancing, and I can also play the piano.
I especially like K-POP, so I would love to have fun singing K-POP tunes with you. I live with a dog called Creamy, and I enjoy learning Japanese and English.
Thank you for reading my introduction so far!
I look forward to meeting you!
