Hello, my name is Miranda, and I'm from Wisconsin, USA. I have been living in Japan since 2019 and have worked for 2 very well-known English conversation companies. I've been teaching English for over 3 years both privately and for organizations. During my time teaching I have loved interacting with so many different students from babies to business people to artists to homemakers to CEO's. My specialty is in teaching children as well as teaching business English. Let's talk about your English goals so we can reach them toghether!

In my spare time I enjoy reading self help books, jogging, watching netflix, and drinking at izakayas (Japanese pubs). I also like traveling anywhere and everywhere! I've been to several places throughout Japan, as well as 15 different countries.

I have over 3 years experience teaching second language learners in Japan. Most of my experience is in teaching in-person lessons, but in the past year I've been increasing my online lesson experience. I've taught students of all different ages, backgrounds, and levels.

I like to create a fun learning environment for my students where the student speaks for at least 60% of the lesson. I believe that speaking as much as possible is the best way to learn a language so my lessons are heavily focused on your English output.
