My name is Kevin (people also call me Kebii) and although you might think I am Japanese when you see my profile picture, I am actually a Taiwanese Canadian! I was born in Taiwan and raised in Vancouver, Canada.
ケビンです!（ケビーと呼んでもOK!）プロファイル写真を見て、恐らく「あれ!?日本人じゃん!」と思っちゃったかもしれないですけど、僕は台湾生まれで、カナダのバンクーバーで育てられましたよ。
我是Kevin (大家都叫我Kebii)。當你看到我的照片時, 心裡應該有種"他看起來就像是日本人啊"的感覺吧! 但我是在台灣出生, 在加拿大(溫哥華)長大的哦!
My interests include basketball (I'm a huge MJ and Kobe fan, my favourite team is Toronto Raptors!), travelling, hot spring, music, movies, trying things I have not done before, learning about new cultures.
僕の趣味はバスケットボール（MJ＆Kobeが大好きです、Toronto Raptorsを応援しています！）、旅行、温泉、音楽、映画、やったことがないことにチャレンジすること、新しい文化に触れあうことです。
我的興趣是籃球(最愛的球員是MJ和KOBE, 支持的球隊是多倫多暴龍隊), 熱愛旅行, 喜歡泡溫泉, 聽音樂, 看電影, 挑戰新的事情, 接觸不同的文化等。
I came back to Vancouver in December 2017. After I came back to Vancouver, I chose a brand new path where I started studying acupuncture. If you have any questions about this or how to become healthier, please feel free to ask me during class! Now, I teach English/Chinese/Japanese face-to-face and online, I do translation work, and I have my own YouTube channel!

【About My Work History in Japan】
I was in Japan for a total of 7 years! I started working in Japan as the Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme in Fukushima Prefecture for 3 years. As a CIR, my job content included interpretation and translation (in English, Japanese and Chinese) for the governor and government officials. I worked as a supervisor and a consultant for the Assistant Langauge Teachers (ALT) and foreign residents. I also planned and organized international events for local people. After I finished my tenure as a CIR, I moved to Kyoto and I worked at the Public Relations Division at a private university. When I was in Fukushima (and then in Kyoto), I gradually developed my passion for teaching so I started teaching on the side while working. Eventually, I became a full-time English teacher after I finished working at the university.
僕は7年間日本にいました！最初はJapan Exchange and Teaching (JET)プログラムの国際交流員として福島県で3年間仕事をしていました。国際交流員の仕事は通訳・翻訳（英語・日本語・中国語）、外国語指導助手（ALT)や外国人住民のための相談役、そして国際交流イベントを計画していました。JETプログラムが終了後、京都府に引っ越し、京都にある私立大学の広報課で仕事をしていました。僕は徐々に英語を教えることに対して情熱を感じ始めたため、大学の仕事を辞め、フルタイムの英語教師になりました。
我在日本工作了7年。我是透過一個政府主辦的項目 Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme 而到了福島縣工作。當時的工作內容包括幫助縣長翻譯, 接洽國外的賓客, 提供英語教師和外國居民諮詢服務, 策畫許多國際交流的活動。JET Programme結束後, 我搬到了京都府, 到一所私立大學工作。我在福島的時候已經對教學產生濃厚的興趣, 所以工作之餘我也會教課。辭去大學的工作後, 我正式成了全職的英語教師。
【About My Teaching Style】
My teaching style is to create a relaxed atmosphere where you will feel most comfortable and be able to say anything you want without worrying about making mistakes! I often encourage the students that it is okay to make mistakes because no one is perfect! I will also listen to what you need and create the lesson just for YOU!
【僕の教え方について】
学生にとってリラックスした雰囲気で一番話しやすい環境を作ります。僕は「間違っても全然いいよ！誰だって完璧じゃないんだから！」ということをいつも学生たちに言っています。そして、YOUのニーズに合わせ、YOUにとって一番相応しいレッスンをします！
【我的教學方式】
許多學生上線上課程時都會有點緊張, 而且很怕講錯, 但是不用擔心! 在我的課堂裡, 您可以放輕鬆, 而我也會鼓勵學生盡量發言。我也會依照您的程度, 設計一個您的專屬課程!
