MissT 讲师的个人介绍
Hey everyone! My name is Miki （未来) and I am a born and raised New Yorker. My parents are both from Saitama and they came to the states when they were in their twenties.
As a bilingual, native English speaker and fluent casual conversationalist in Japanese, I am an English tutor!
I can teach any of the following:
- English grammar
- Casual English Conversation
- Tier 3 vocabulary based on a specific topic of your choice
- Nuance & fluency
- American cultural English and slang
- Let me know what you need and I'll be flexible!
About Me:
I have 2 cats, Appa & Pacha~

Traveling:
I was raised in New York, went to college in California, studied abroad in Japan and now live in Connecticut. I've also been to South Korea on a research assignment. I love flying on airplanes and I love riding the train and the bus! I enjoy traveling and would like to visit many more places.
Education:
I went to a Liberal Arts school, but when I graduated I became a teacher. I have worked as an elementary teacher for 5th and 6th grade and as a hospital teacher for middle and high school students. I love education and how wonderful it can be for students. I also love making connections and learning too!
My students used to call me "Miss T" which is why I put that as my nickname here :)
Likes & Hobbies:
I love watching TV shows like Criminal Minds and Terrace House! I also enjoy reading and particularly like Murakami Haruki (Norwegian Wood is my favorite book). I also like baking cookies and especially love making ramen (mainly because I am kind of lazy). I enjoy speaking and practicing my Japanese, although not with my family, and haven't had a chance to speak much since I started living in Connecticut.
I love laughing and making others laugh so let's have a lot of fun in our lessons~
