How are you?
My name is Maria. I am an American native speaker and experienced teacher that loves teaching conversational skills. I just moved to Thailand from Jordan.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Art Education, a Fine Art Masters's degree from Italy, and TESOL certification.
I have been teaching English on several online platforms to people worldwide during my travels for years.
I am also an experienced environmentalist and co-founder of the environmental organization "MicroPlastics JO" and an environmental artist.
I am passionate about spreading awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastic pollution by making art.
My approach to teaching English is really around conversations.
Conversations are key to learning a language. People will tell you, to read English, watch television and listen to English music. But at the end of the day, you need to talk to someone.
Whether you have an English interview, an upcoming exam, a business presentation, or any life situations where you will have to express yourself in English.
I believe in you and together we can make it work.
