Hi there!
My name is Dave. I am an English teacher in Madrid Spain where I've been living for the past 13 years. I love my life here as it's very sociable (even though I have a young daughter). I love going out to restaurants and bars and playing lots of sports. I have a big interest in films and tv series too when I'm at home and love travelling too whenever I get the opportunity.
I started teaching English as I firstly love interacting with people and finding out their stories. I love to help people reach their goals and learning English is a big one as it opens up many more doors in terms of work, loving in other countries or just general travelling. I have 13 years of experience teaching absolutely all ages and levels too, from very basic beginner to people fluent in English but wanting to maintain their level.
My style of teaching is as follows: the only real way of becoming fluent in English is by practicing. The only way to practice regularly is to be motivated to practice and the only way of keeping motivation high is by enjoying the classes so my style is to focus on the first step which is enjoying the classes with me. I adapt what or how I teach too depending on the person and their needs but I will always try to keep the motivation as high as possible.
