Hello, I’m Sungmo, a Korean language teacher.
I live in Daegu, the hottest city in Korea during summer, often called “Daefrica.”
I have taken online lessons as student so as to learn Japanese, English, and piano from 20+ teachers. Through this experience, I have come to appreciate the benefits of online lessons and understand how to learn effectively on online. Now, I want to become a teacher of korean and share my knowledge with students, drawing from my own learning experiences.
“The advantages of online lessons are definitely the flexibility of time and location. If you need to reschedule due to an urgent matter, please leave a message, and we can set a new appointment.”
How do I spend my leisure time?
I am learning piano as a hobby and practice daily to improve. Besides that, I often visit to art museums, walk around, read books at bookstore, study English and Japanese, and watch romance and drama genre movies.
- Favorite book genres: Art and travel-related books
- Favorite movies: Titanic, Out of Africa, About Time, Notting Hill
- Recent favorite walking course: Shiga Prefecture
What is my teaching style?
My lesson style is to teach Korean grammar and vocabulary through comfortable conversation in a comfortable atmosphere on themes you like.
My interests are baking, piano, art, classic movies, food, music, animals, nature, environmental protection, etc.
What are your interests?
Let's talk together during the trial lesson. I'd love to hear your stories.
To Cafetalk students:
Learning a new language is not easy, but if you persevere, you will notice a difference yourself in a year. As a teacher, I will also study, think, and challenge to become a better teacher.
“If you are dissatisfied with the my lesson, please leave me a message. It helps me to understand what to improve.”
I look forward to meeting my students soon.
