안녕하세요! 타라(Tara)에요.

저는 서울에서 나고 자라 표준 한국어를 사용하며, 언어를 굉장히 좋아하는 사람입니다. 한국어뿐만 아니라 영어 교육도 오랫동안 해왔어요.

대학교에서는 정치외교학을 전공했고, 이후 국제학대학원에서 국제학 전공 석사를 취득하며 전 과정을 영어로 마쳤습니다. 영어는 회화, 글쓰기, TOEIC, OPIC, 수능 대입 영어, 내신관리 등 12년 이상 가르친 경험이 있어요. 현재는 글로벌 브랜드 회사에서 프리렌서 마케팅 브랜드 매니저(BM)로도 활동하고 있어, 가끔 마케팅 관련 진로 상담도 해드리고 있어요.

또한, 저는 고양이를 정말 사랑해서 한 마리를 키우고 있고, 캐나다에서 2년간 워킹홀리데이 경험도 있습니다. 취미로는 추리·스릴러 소설 읽기, 기구 필라테스, 런닝, 베드민턴 등 다양한 운동을 즐기고 있어요!

한국의 사회, 정치, 문화, K-POP 등 다양한 주제로 자유롭게 이야기하는 것도 좋아합니다. 함께 대화하고 배우고 성장할 분들을 언제든 환영해요!

I’m Tara.

I was born and raised in Seoul, speaking standard Korean, and I have a deep love for languages. In addition to Korean, I have been teaching English for a long time.

I majored in Political Science during my undergraduate studies and later earned a Master’s degree in International Studies from a graduate school of international studies, completing the entire program in English. I have over 12 years of experience teaching English in various areas, including conversation, writing, TOEIC, OPIC, Korean college entrance exam English, and school exam preparation.

Currently, I also work as a freelance Marketing Brand Manager (BM) for a global brand, and I occasionally provide career counseling related to marketing.

I absolutely love cats and have one as a lovely pet. I also have two years of working holiday experience in Canada. In my free time, I enjoy reading mystery and thriller novels, practicing Pilates, running, and playing badminton.

I love discussing a wide range of topics, including Korean society, politics, culture, and K-pop. I’m always open to engaging conversations, learning together, and growing with others!

•Participated in Korean-English language exchange during graduate school
