Hello! My name is Zoe ten Krooden, and I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching English and fostering a love for learning. I hold a Level 5 Certificate in Teaching ESL (TEFL) from The TEFL Academy in the UK and am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Cornerstone Institute in Cape Town. Additionally, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a focus on Microbiology from the University of Stellenbosch.
With three years of teaching experience at Neurolink Academy in Taiwan and UP Tutors, I have worked with students aged 5 to 18, creating engaging, personalized lesson plans across various subjects, including English, Maths, and Science. My teaching philosophy centers on catering to diverse learning styles through interactive and creative methods. I believe in the importance of building strong connections with my students, which helps to foster their growth and confidence in their abilities. I am excited about the possibility of joining a dynamic educational community and contributing positively to student learning experiences.
