Self Introduction

Hello!
I’m Dong-Sensei, and I teach Korean on Cafetalk.
I’m from Seoul, South Korea, and I’m a Korean language tutor who majored in Japanese.

If you’re not yet confident in using Korean, don’t worry!
I studied Japanese in both undergraduate and graduate school, and have passed N1 on the JLPT.
I can also offer assistance in Japanese when needed, so beginners are more then welcome to join!

Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been interested in K-POP, and that passion led me to work as a manager for an idol at a major Korean entertainment agency.
With extensive experience in business dealings and frequent trips to Japan, I absolutely love freely discussing K-POP and Korean wave culture with Japanese students.


Lately, I have found great fulfillment in teaching Korean.
Seeing my students’ language skills improve brings me joy.
In my lessons, we will enjoy fun conversations while effectively boosting Korean proficiency!
