Hi, I’m Wendy, and I’m from Taiwan.
I majored in Chinese Literature and I have a certified teaching license in Taiwan.
I love traveling and experiencing different cultures around the world — that’s what inspired me to start teaching Chinese online.
I’ve been teaching Mandarin one-on-one to Taiwanese students online for three years.
I also worked as a volunteer Chinese teacher in Turkey, where I taught Mandarin to local teenagers.
I enjoy reading, writing, and long-distance walking.
I once walked all the way around Taiwan and completed the Jeju Olle Trail in Korea.
I also love participating in traditional festivals across Taiwan, and I know many local cultural stories that even some Taiwanese aren’t familiar with.
If you’re interested in traveling in Taiwan, hiking, or Taiwanese festivals and cultural events, I’m sure we’ll have a great time chatting!
In class, we can learn Chinese through conversation, self-introductions, cultural exchange, food, music, and more.
I can teach pinyin, zhuyin, simplified and traditional characters, everything will be customized to your needs.
I mainly use 《來學華語》（Let’s Learn Chinese）and《當代中文課程》（A Course in Contemporary Chinese） as teaching materials.I will choose content based on your level.
