Hi there! How's it going?
My name is Juan Carlos Díaz David, I was born in Cuba and immigrated to Quebec, Canada, in 2008, mainly for the love of the French language. I am a native Spanish speaker and my deep passion for languages has led me to near-native levels in both French and English; so, as you can see, I am sensitive to language learning myself.
Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology delivered by the University of Havana, Cuba, the Diplôme de hautes études en langue française (DALF C2-Translation Concentration) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as an English/French into Spanish Translation Certificate delivered by McGill University, Canada, it would be my pleasure to help you in your linguistic endeavours.
In this respect, my rich, cumulative 10 year-experience as a French teacher for the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion of Quebec and for several school languages in Cuba and Canada, my methodical, friendly approach, high level of professionalism and strong commitment to my students in every moment will undoubtedly allow me to meet your highest expectations.
I also love being in contact with nature, so you can bet that camping, hiking and biking are among my beloved hobbies. And you? Tell me more about yourself and let me be part of your language learning experience.
My warmest greetings to you!
Your language teacher Juan Carlos Díaz David
