Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.

When we discuss topics like picture, he first encourages me to speak, and then we go over my mistakes together. After that, he provides a list of useful vocabulary, and he finishes the lesson by reviewing the relevant grammar structures, making the session incredibly productive. The knowledge he shares is truly valuable, and I am confident that his teaching style will significantly help me improve my Japanese. He is always cheerful, easy to talk to, and makes the lessons so much fun. Thank you so much!

I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. たまたま空き時間ができてスタンバイを利用しました。 同じ英語講師としてフリートークレッスンは1番難しいと私は思ってます。 生徒さんにどうやって「伸びるように」話してもらうかが大切だからです。その点、先生は上手に話を引き出してくださり、自分の事もバランスよく話されていたので同業として見習う事がたくさんありました。 なかなかタイミングが合いませんが、是非また受けたい先生の1人です！

たわいない会話も毎回とても楽しく、そして時々どんな文法書を見ても理解が出来ない文法を聞いてもとてもわかりやすく教えてくださいます。単語のニュアンスの違いも例文で感覚的に捉えやすく説明してもらえて、楽しいのにとてもためになるレッスンです。

I'm learning lots of native phrases through this lesson. I actually came across them in many situations(TV dramas, Instagram posts, daily conversations or even she uses them without realising! ). It's a fun surprise for me! As she said, making sentences relevant to my own story really helps them stick in my mind. I'm sure if I can naturally use them in my speaking, my English would sound much more natural. Her lessons and feedback are always awesome! Thank you for always supporting me!
