High-level English made simple! Learn "Real English" used in daily conversation, business relationships or formal speech. Level up your English skills to give speeches and presentations, to get a high score on the TOEFL exam or to apply for an overseas University.
I am a native English speaker born in the American Midwest. My English pronunciation is near-perfect and I do not have an accent. I am certified TEFL/TESOL and specialize in teaching English pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and writing composition. I have studied various levels of Japanese, French, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Spanish.
Helping students gain necessary skills to be successful in society is my passion. I feel joy when students break through with an "A-ha!" moment when they finally understand the subject topics. I have a B.A with concentrations in Linguistics and Japanese. Besides working a full-time job at the Plaza Hotel and Casino, I tutor a few hours-a-day for private clients at their homes. I am comfortable teaching math up to the Pre-Calculus level, but my expertise is teaching English speaking, writing and reading comprehension.
For adults I prepare materials that are specific to your area of interest.
