Hi there, I'm Eva. I'm a language teacher from the U.S. ヾ(＾-＾)　
If you're interested in learning English or Spanish, I'd love to teach you!

☆ My qualifications:

I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and I taught English for 2 years in Japan's Wakayama prefecture. During my time there I taught at 5 different junior high schools as well as teaching adult English conversation classes.

In college I majored in Spanish, and I also have experience teaching Spanish to children and tutoring college students. I have spent several years living in Mexico.

☆ About the lessons:

In our lessons, I'll cater to your level and goals. If you want help with specific areas, I can help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, and so on. If you have an exam or interview coming up or some particular need, just let me know and we can prepare for it together.

Lesson materials may include sample tests, newspaper articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, and so on, depending on your interests and goals.

☆ About me:

My hobbies are traveling, doing yoga, cooking, hiking, reading, and crafts. If you want, we can talk about any of these things in our lessons - favorite books, recipes from other countries, how to talk about anatomy and do yoga, etc.

There are always good practice during the lesson, like repetitions from the previous lessons as well as new vocabularies. Also the pronunciations are corrected immediately. The tutor is very friendly and kind :-)

I’m a graduate student in a nutrition doctorate program. Before getting admitted to this program, Eva helped me prepare for the TOEFL writing and GRE writing sections. I think her lessons are a great solution for all students who want to speak English more naturally! I have been learning English for more than one year. Since I decided to study abroad last year, I have been trying to talk with Eva 2 or 3 times a week steadily because I realized my English skills were not enough to speak fluently. After that, she has helped me prepare for the TOEFL and GRE tests as well as for an interview for admissions to the graduate program. More specifically, the most satisfying thing in her lessons is that she always gives me some files including my grammar mistakes and pronunciation corrections after talking with her. Thanks to Eva, I got accepted to one of my dream schools in the US!! I really appreciate her a lot and hope to keep practicing English with her even if I achieve my first goal. If you’re thinking about studying abroad like me, I’d say, “Just try it! She will motivate you to have a great sense of accomplishment and enable you to speak your thoughts in English more precisely without any hesitations.” That’s why I love her amazing lessons and highly recommend her to you.
