After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, I moved on to the master's course at the graduate school of the same university and then the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Currently I continue my pursuit of knowledge while coming and going between Japan and Poland. Since I can't be in Japan all year, and after realizing I could teach piano to students in different countries, irrespective of distance, I joined Cafetalk as a teacher.
In addition to teaching how to read music and performance basics, I also teach my students how to feel the music with their whole bodies. Sometimes we move away from the keyboard and talk about a variety of things, move our whole bodies, or I play the music you have ed for the lesson, and we can not only make progress with reading sheet music but enjoy music together.
I'm the 2017 special grade silver medalist of Japan's largest scale piano competition, the PTNA Piano Competition. Also, in 2015 I obtained a diploma from the International Chopin Piano Competition, one of the top 3 piano competitions in the world. I also have top-level awards from the Chopin Piano Competition in Asia (gold medal in the senior high school category, silver in the concierto category,and delegate category finalist). Aside from these I've placed highly in other competitions and performed in countless recitals. I'd like to share with you all the experience I've cultivated over the years.
I specialize in classical but can adapt to other genres as well. Become good at what you like! I will do my very best to support everyone in becoming able to play the music they want to!
♪From my elementary school to high school period, along with piano I also specially studied composition, and am able to help with arranging music of all degrees of difficulty. For those of you who are struggling because you want to play something but can't because it's too hard, I can send you a hand-written arrangement after the lesson, free of charge. Please don't hesitate to ask. :) （For musical arrangements, please limit them to your personal use.）
♪In response to requests from students, I've begun a lesson notes feedback service. If you attach the sheet music you are using, I will send it back with advice written on it. Please attach the sheet music you want to use as a photo or scanned data before the lesson.
♪For students specifically interested in foundations, practical applications and musical growth, I can send a video of me performing for your reference. Depending on the level of difficulty, it may take a few days, so I ask for your understanding.
