Hi, I’m George, thank you for dropping by to check out my profile!

Born in Germany, I’m German/American in origin, and speak both languages at a native level.

Living in Lombok Indonesia since 2003, it was my passion for teaching that brought me to this tropical archipelago. I have wide ranging experience in teaching learners of all ages as for 18 years I have been teaching scuba diving to many students with varying backgrounds and languages.

But teaching English has also always been a big passion of mine, this my lovely family can attest to :)


If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed teacher, I could be the one for you. I take pleasure in helping students succeed in what they set out to learn. My passion has always been coaching students so they can achieve their goals to the fullest.

Education:
Graduated Fachoberschule Augsburg Germany in the subject of economics.

In 2000 I started my career in scuba diving and became PADI Instructor. I continued my training though the instructor levels until reaching Master Instructor. At this stage now training other scuba diving professionals. Furthermore I am Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer. Training groups with varying skill sets and languages in First Aid procedures.

I am a certified TESOL English teacher. My certification I obtained at the International Open Academy with a score of 96.7.

Cafetalk lessons, teaching style:
I teach to adult English learners and can help you with many aspects of the English language.  My specialties are English for life, travel English, American dialect, slang, and expressions. I will be happy to help you build your vocabulary as well as gain confidence in your language skills.

One of the most important things when learning or improving a language is practice. This you will for sure have with me!

We will practice your language skills in a stress free and fun atmosphere. So come by for a “Open Mic – Free Talk Session” or book one of my free trial lessons, let’s get to know each other.

During our lesson we can correct any errors in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, or sentence structure. I will take notes as well as record our lesson, then send you our recording together with in depth feedback.
