Hi,
My name is Elicia and I am a qualified high school teacher, living in Perth, Western Australia. Currently I teach Japanese full time to students between the ages of 12 and 15. I love teaching others and that's why I want to work online at Cafetalk! I am happy to teach children and adults.
I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Australia and spent six months as an exchange student in Hyogo Precture back in 2014. Then, I spent another six months working at a Private English School in Tochigi Precture, teaching English to kids as young as 2 years old. I have also travelled to Japan quite a few times. However, I am yet to visit Hokkaido and I want to travel through more of the northern parts of Honshu.
I have a variety of hobbies and have a keen interest in other cultures and foods. On my weekends I like to go snorkelling in summer. I have been swimming with sharks, turtles, dolphins and rays.
I went to Europe once to visit family in Italy but am yet to visit anywhere else in Europe.
I'm sure there will be lots for us to talk about!
