I am Yoshi, a Spanish language teacher.
Learning a language is also a way to expand your world.
I currently teach Spanish to elementary school students up to adults.
I offer both private and group lessons according to your learning objectives and preferences.
★ My Lesson Policy
I am able to use my extensive experiences to tailor my lessons to the objectives and language level of each student.
My goal is not only to teach grammar and other language rules, but also to include the cultural aspects and customs unique to the language.
I will answer all questions and doubts raised by the student related to that day’s study topic.
We can discuss which textbooks to use.
The student is the main character in the lesson.
During the lesson, I encourage the student to speak more than I do. I believe that the accumulation of such experiences will help the student truly remember the language through their minds and body movements.
I would love you to feel the joy of learning Spanish!
★ Personal History
My first encounter with the Spanish language was as a second language during my college years, and I later studied abroad at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, majoring in Latin American Studies.
I also spent some time in Madrid, Spain after that.
I have worked for a Spanish-language TV station in Tokyo, as an interpreter for business meetings, as a legal translator, and as a language school teacher.
I have learned languages through studying and living abroad.
I feel that the significance of learning a language is that it expands my perception of the world through communicating with people from diverse backgrounds, from all over the world.
When I was working for a TV station, I mainly reported on Japanese culture and social issues.
Once again, I was exposed to unique Japanese traditions, culture, and events that do not exist in other countries, and I gained a lot of insight and learning in order to convey them.
Traveling, friends, music, cuisine... something cheerful and inviting! ...What kind of language is this?...
You don’t need an absolute reason to learn.
Even if you just have a vague idea of what you want to learn, I welcome you!
