Although I mainly focus on grammar and conversation, I can adjust the lesson to meet the needs of my students.
For example, after learning grammar using a textbook, we can also work on pronunciation through role-playing → this way you would actually learn "usable" English.

【Tutor profile】
I am a Japanese English teacher who works on the principle of "expanding your 'comfort space'."
I lived in Japan until I was 18, when I decided to go to the U.S. for full-time college study and graduated from a university in California, USA in 2019.

My major is to learn about children's psychological growth.
As an English teacher, I have about three years of experience teaching elementary school students to adults.
There were many students who wanted to study for tests, understand grammar, or learn how to speak. I am not the type of teacher who will force you to study, so please understand that.
Even if you are not very good at English, as long as you have the desire to learn, you will be fine. I will do my best to support you!
Having a native English speaker as a teacher can have a positive impact on your English learning, as you will learn how to pronounce words correctly and communicate only in English, but it can be difficult to get the right answer at the right time when you want to say something in English.
I will provide you with lessons that can be explained in Japanese, so that you won’t be troubled by that sort of problems.
This picture is of one of my favorite beaches when I was a college student!
If you're interested in studying in California, I'd love to talk about it in our lessons.
And of course, I'd be happy to talk to you about scholarships, accommodation and car, how I managed it, etc. There are many things I can tell you because I've actually lived there.

【For those who are taking my lessons for the first time初】
・Before the lesson starts, I will send you a message on Skype. If you don't receive the message within 30 minutes before the lesson starts, your Skype account ID may have been registered incorrectly. In that case, please make sure that the ID you are using and the ID registered on Cafetalk are the same.
・You would have to download Skype in order to use it. Since we are going to use the chat function, I recommend using a tablet or PC for taking the lessons.
・Please refrain from taking lessons in an environment where you cannot concentrate on your studies, such as in a car.
・Due to many connection problems with Zoom, I basically use Skype for all the lessons. I appreciate your understanding.
