Hi, I am Lieni! 

I am married and a mother of an adorable child. I love eating, cooking, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with my Family. 

If time and budget permit, I usually go somewhere with my family to eat out or go on a short trip together.  I also cook Filipino cuisine and sell them sometimes. :) I just love what I am doing and that includes teaching... :D





Teaching Experience

I had a bachelor's degree in English and majored in Applied Linguistics. Also, I've been teaching English online for 11 years to foreign students from different parts of the world, like, Turkish, Korean, Brazilian, Spanish, Taiwanese, Thai, and Middle Eastern countries, Brazilian, and most of them are from Japan and a lot more. 


My students said they love the calm, relaxed, and fun atmosphere in my classes. I never get tired of teaching and understanding my student's needs. I always show my dedication to everything I do. I have experience handling different nationalities, cultures, personalities, and students at different levels. I am also a certified TEFL teacher. 


Teaching Style

I would like to give my students the spotlight. Letting students freely express themselves naturally, confidently, and casually is a way of boosting self-confidence. I believe that if a student is feeling at home and relaxed, he can truly be himself and that can help me evaluate the student even more. So, feel comfortable and be yourself regardless of your English level. You don't have to worry about anything. I am approachable, flexible, friendly, patient, and calm and I can be funny sometimes! 

What's the best way to learn a language? 
The best way to learn a language is to enjoy it and accept any mistakes and learn to form them. :))

As your tutor, I made sure that your time with me is engaging and interesting as much as possible. I understand that the primary goal of taking the class is to have you improve your English language more naturally and comfortably.

During the class, I'll help you with pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, etc. I am a good listener and patient, so you don't have to worry about a thing. ;)

I made it a habit to write some feedback after each class for you to have something to look back on. :)


Lessons 

I will provide topics like reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, free conversation, and ESL conversation questions. 

 

Of course, having your lesson material is highly welcomed and appreciated. I accept a lesson of your choice. Just drop me a message in advance so I can look into it if possible.
