여러분 안녕하세요! Hello everyone! My name is Rumi.
 
⎝⍢⎠Let me introduce myself⎝⍢⎠
 
I am from Seoul, South Korea, but I am currently living in Japan.
I majored in Japanese language at a university in South Korea and have worked hard to learn Japanese through language training and exchange programs not only in South Korea but also in Japan. During my study abroad program, I worked as a hall-staff at Gusto, and after graduating from university, I gained experience as a front staff at a business hotel in Japan. From these experiences, I met many people who were learning Korean and deepened my interactions through language exchange. Every time I witnessed someone grow, I felt a great sense of fulfillment, so I gradually became interested in becoming a Korean language tutor.

My connection to Japan began with a school trip to Kansai that I participated in during my second year of high school.
This was my first time being in Japan, and it sparked my interest for the country.
Since then, I started watching Japanese dramas and anime, which deepened my interest in Japan even further.

While learning Japanese, I found myself wanting to learn more about Japan, so I decided to major in Japanese language at university. I made an effort to strengthen my language skills by not hesitating to take on any opportunities, such as language training and exchange programs.
 
Have any of you ever heard that “language” is something you “acquire” rather than “learn?”
When I reflect on the moment I felt that I had acquired Japanese skills the most, I believe it was when I was able to naturally acquire it through conversations with native Japanese speakers.
 
Perhaps it was because the conversation I was able to have with them were very enjoyable.
The main reason we are able to continue learning is when we find it enjoyable. By repeating the practices continuously, I believe it will naturally leads to building your language skills, just as babies start to remember and speak the words around them.
 
I believe that everyone reading my profile is interested in learning Korean for various reasons and purposes, such as for studying abroad, for business, or for their personal interests.
I will do my utmost best to support you in your learning process so that you can feel that, “I was improving my skills without even realizing it, all while enjoying learning!” Let’s enjoy our time together in a way that makes you look forward to your next lesson every time!
