Hi, I’m Michael, a certified English teacher based in Toronto, Canada.

If you already know a lot of English but still feel awkward, tense, or unsure in real conversations, you’re not alone. Many adult learners reach a point where studying more rules does not help them speak more naturally.

My lessons are for people who want real conversation, not just practice exercises. Instead of following a textbook, we talk about your life, your work, your thoughts, and the things you care about. The focus is on helping you relax into English and express yourself without constantly translating in your head.

The goal is not perfect English. The goal is to feel comfortable being yourself in English.

My teaching style is calm, thoughtful, and practical. You will spend most of the lesson speaking, and as we talk, I will gently point out small adjustments to your expressions, pronunciation, and grammar so you can improve in real time without feeling interrupted or judged.

If you’re looking for a teacher you can grow with over time, someone who values meaningful conversation and steady progress, I would be happy to work with you.
