I am an Australian TESOL-qualified English teacher living in Germany. Before I moved to Germany I was working as a Marketing and Product Manager and a part-time musician. Now I work teaching children, using music, games and flashcards. I am comfortable with all kinds of people and I am familiar with both corporate and artistic environments.
I have been to Japan twice and I look forward to going again this December. Aside from travel, some of my hobbies include singing, playing guitar, reading, amigurumi and ikebana.
I am passionate about sharing skills and knowledge. I have always been interested in language. As a child, I used to create my own languages and alphabets, and as a songwriter, I love word play and rhyme.
Qualifications:
- TESOL certificate
- Bachelor of Arts specialising in German and Music Studies
- Bachelor of Business specialising in Marketing
Teaching style:
My job as a teacher is to help you achieve your goals. In our first lesson I will be asking you such things as
- why are you learning English?
- what would you like to achieve in your lessons?
Whether you are looking to learn or improve vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, understanding different accents, or if there is a specific topic you would like to be able to talk about in English - I am here to help!
