For the past two days here in Ishigaki, I have been diving with these beautiful, majestic creatures!
They are 3-4 metres long and are so graceful.
Tomorrow we will be leaving for Okinawa!
The adventure continues......

It really was wonderful Yoko :-)
You know how passionate (or obsessive?!) I am with scuba diving. And I was lucky enough to dive with them two days in a row over 4 days. I think I saw 16 manta rays in total. They are HUGE! Maybe as long as a car (or longer) and so majestic. They came and stared right in our eyes, from maybe only half a metre away. I am so glad that Ashley was able to experience this with me for one of the days too. This part of the world is the most beautiful I have ever seen!

Yes, it must be a wonderful experience! We sometimes see those big sea creatures on TV but not with our own eyes! You actually experienced such a rare encounter yourself. Congratulations!
