How are you doing? I'd like to share a funny story with you... At the same time, I think this story might be more amusing to me more than to anyone else. 

During my time working as a model/actress in Hollywood, I had the opportunity to get booked on a commercial shoot way out in the countryside. I had to skip town past the bright lights and skyscrapers until I seemed to be driving endlessly in Southern California.

Experiencing a total change of scenery, I was happy driving along the expansive landscape along the tree-lined countryside roads. I was delighted to see livestock animals in the distance grazing on the green grass.

As I was driving along, I saw a row of cows eating out of their trough on the other side of the fence. I decided to get out of the car for this rare experience and say "hello" to the cows! I got out in front of them on the other side of the fence. Then, I yelled at the top of my lungs, "Hi!"

Wouldn't you know it? The cows all stopped eating at the same time and looked up at me. After a little while, they went back to grazing in their troughs again. I thought this was extremely amusing, so I did it again. Once again, they stopped what they were doing and look up at me when I said "Hi" again! I must have repeated it at least 10 times! It was as if they were seeing me for the first time every time!

Naturally, I had to keep doing it until I realized that my actions would not yield any different results no matter how many times I did it. So, I was content to keep driving toward the commercial shoot's location.

At that time, I had a strange thought. I thought about eating cows that seemed to have no memory whatsoever and the brain of an ice cube. However, if they were any smarter, I wouldn't want to eat them. I had to tell you the story in context or it would sound totally outrageous. Have you ever thought about stopping to say "hi" to cows along the way?"
