A long time ago, about 20 years ago to be precise, I decided that I didn't like the taste of meat and that I wanted to be pescatarian (no meat but continuing to eat fish and seafood). At that time, eating out was a bit of a problem as vegetarian dishes were not as creative or available as they are today. We have come a long way since then and it seems that most restaurants now offer a separate vegetarian menu with a vast variety of dishes to choose from. These are some of my favourite ones:
Halloumi and sweet potato burgers/ halloumi and smoke paprika stuffed portobello mushroom burger
Satay sweet potato curry
Stuffed peppers and tomatoes (only rice, no mince)
Mushroom risotto
Veggie flatbread
Vegetarian fajitas
And many, many more.....so yummy and healthy!
