I'm definitely a beach person.
My home country, Australia, is surrounded by water. We have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I only live 10 minutes away from the beach in Australia, so it is easy to get to, and I go everyday! I love going to the beach when I travel too.

Going to the beach is the perfect Summertime activity.
When it is boiling hot and 40C, going to the beach is the perfect way to cool off.
The sand is so warm and comfortable.
The sea is cool and clear.
The sky is bright and cloudless.
The beach is one of my favourite places to be!
There are also so many activities you can do at the beach! My favourite things to do are snorkelling, swimming in the water with my friends, cliff-diving, tanning in the sun, taking photos, plus eating fish and chips!
In Japan, the beaches are so packed in Summer. The best thing to do at the beach in Japan is to go to a fireworks display. Summer firework festivals are amazing! You can relax on the beach during the day, eat delicious food and drinks from stalls, wear a summer Yukata and watch beautiful fireworks at night. It's one of the best ways to spend the Summer. Kamakura Fireworks Festival (Hanabi Matsuri) is my favourite. They have underwater fireworks- it's magical.
