IMPROVE YOUR VOCABULARY - USE IT OR LOSE IT

Suja

The age-old adage is something we’re already familiar with by now……Practice Makes Perfect!

Regular practice and exercise of the language will only make you better at it.

Many of us find that one of our weakest links when we speak English is the lack of sufficient and  good vocabulary.

Reading voraciously and speaking on varied topics can tremendously boost your lexical resource which is your vocabulary and how you use it.

Keep a personal notebook of good phrases, idioms, phrasal verbs and synonyms of vocabulary you frequently use, as this could function as good reference when you need to use it, such as when you write!

Writing is another useful way  to apply a range of vocabulary and practice forming simple and complex sentence structures while you learn from your mistakes. You can keep a journal and have it checked by a teacher or practice writing compositions such as short essays and also have this vetted by a teacher.  Try a Writing Class now!
