Name one thing that make you smile

Weekly Topic: Name one thing that makes you smile no matter what.

Sep 6, 2022

A person comes into this world with the ability to smile. And these are not just beautiful words, but scientific facts. Scientists claim that a conscious smile appears on a baby's face at the age of a few weeks, and an unconscious one - from the moment of birth. Another fact - children smile 40 times more often than adults. Studies have shown that an adult smiles on average 7 times a day, while a child - about 300. Why don't we adopt this wonderful habit from children - to smile as often as possible? Especially since it is not only pleasant but also useful.
 A smile improves mood
When a person smiles, the hormones of happiness - endorphins - begin to be produced involuntarily in his body. In addition, this process is triggered even when a person forces himself to smile through force. A closed circle of joy results - when a person feels good, she smiles, and when a person smiles, she feels good.
What makes me feel better?
What thing makes me smile?
I thought for a long time... I like to smile
Looked through my entire photo album...
And discovered...
The castle makes me smile!
I like to rest in one very beautiful place.
It is in this cozy place that Schönborn Castle is located...in Ukraine)))
And I'm happy and always smiling)))
Where is this place, you ask, my dear students???
The Schönborn Palace is the former residence and hunting lodge of the Counts of Schönborn, and since 1946 - the "Karpaty" sanatorium, an architectural monument of national importance. Located in the village of Karpaty (Mukachivo).
This palace was built by Count Erwin Friedrich Schönborn-Buchheim in 1890-1895. A wonderful arboretum garden (now the Park of the "Karpaty" sanatorium) with a decorative lake in the center was built around the palace. Planted rare species of trees — boxwood, catalpa, Weymouth pine, Canadian spruce, Japanese cherry (sakura), pink beech, Italian alum; shrubs — doitsia, hydrangea, etc. The hunting castle itself is built in a neo-romantic style, combining Romanesque and Gothic motifs. It is interesting to note that initially there was no palace chapel instead there was a passage, and the chapel appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, and the building closest to the lake became a two-story building.
There is a legend (not supported by facts) that the palace has 365 windows (the number of days in a year), 52 rooms (as in a year of weeks), and 12 entrances (as in a year of months).
The castle is decorated with rich decor (bas-reliefs, weather vanes, stained glass windows) on the theme of the family heraldry of the Schönborn counts; there is a tower clock with chimes. In the palace park, there is a memorial sign (with an inscription in Hungarian) and tw

o sculptural compositions - "Deer" and "Bear with a cub". The outlines of the pond excavated at the end of the 19th century (according to the plan of the park owner) conventionally reproduce the map of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The famous films "The Snow Queen" and "17 Moments of Spring" were shot here at one time.
That's why I feel like a QUEEN in the castle with a gorgeous smile))))
And you, my dear students, I invite you to visit this beautiful place.... and smile...
Because this is happiness))))
