?? Meet My Animal Friends – English Is an Adventure!

Linda G

Hi everyone! I'm Teacher Linda, and I love helping young learners fall in love with English ??

One of my favorite lessons to teach is “Let’s Go to the Zoo!” I use silly voices, fun songs, and even bring out my animal friends—like Leo the Lion, Zoe the Zebra, and Max the Monkey ?????? (Yes, they’re stuffed animals, but the kids absolutely love them!)

In my lessons, we learn useful vocabulary and simple sentence patterns through movement, games, and stories. I always aim to make learning feel like playtime—because that’s when children learn best!

?? A little about me ??
I’m from South Africa and speak English, Afrikaans, and a bit of Italian. I’ve taught English to children for over [insert your experience here], and I truly enjoy seeing each child grow in confidence and skill. Outside of teaching, I love animals, meeting people from around the world, and making kids laugh!

Parents often tell me their children can’t wait for their next lesson—and that’s the best feedback I could hope for ??

If you’re looking for a kind, patient, and enthusiastic teacher to help your child start their English journey, I’d love to meet you! ????

?? I’ll be sharing more tips and stories in future columns. And of course, you can learn even more in my lessons!

See you in class!
– Teacher Linda
