Just Two Months Left! Small but Achievable Goals Before December Ends

Weekly Topic: Just 2 months left this year! Small but achievable goals before December ends

Teacher Marinka

Can you believe it’s already the end of October? Time flies — and suddenly, we’re just two months away from a brand-new year!

Instead of rushing or stressing, this is the perfect time to set small, achievable goals that help us finish 2025 with focus and fulfillment.

Why Small Goals Matter

We often aim high in January, but by October, energy starts to fade. The secret to ending strong isn’t setting bigger goals — it’s making smaller ones that are clear and doable.
Tiny wins build confidence, and confidence builds consistency.

My Personal Mini-Goals Before December

  1. Add creativity to every lesson.
I want each of my students to finish class with a smile — maybe through a new game, song, or digital activity.

  2. Encourage self-reflection.
At the end of each class, I’ll ask: “What’s one new thing you learned today?”

  3. Pause for mindfulness.
Five quiet minutes a day to reset, reflect, and breathe. Because a calm teacher inspires calm learners.

For My Students

Let’s make the last two months meaningful by choosing one small goal to focus on!
Here are some fun ideas:

  • Learn 10 new English words per week

  • Speak in English for 5 minutes a day

  • Keep a short English journal every Friday

Remember — success doesn’t come from perfection, but from progress.

Let’s end 2025 feeling proud of how far we’ve come, one small step at a time.

Question for You:
What’s one small goal you’d love to achieve before December ends?
